I'm Daniel Navas, founder of Twofaces.

I was born into a small neighborhood shop in San Juan de Alicante, a town in the Valencian Community. Since I was a child I've felt a special sensitivity for creating projects aligned with my values, always with the drive to make a positive impact on what surrounds me.

The origin

At home there were always hundreds of books, DVDs and video games. I remember looking at them and thinking: what will we do with all this when we no longer use it? It was a simple question, but over the years it became the origin of everything.

Traveling to come back with a clear idea

For a decade I traveled the world. I lived long stretches in different countries and discovered new ways of understanding business, sustainability and culture. In different places I saw how circular-economy models and responsible consumption were transforming entire communities. That awakened in me the desire to come home and create something that combined my values with a real solution to an everyday problem.

When I returned from living a year in Bali, I found that the lot where my father's shop used to be — closed during the 2008 crisis — was up for sale again. It was as if destiny was reaching out to me. At that moment I saw it clearly: what if I created a circular-economy company to solve that problem that had been with me since childhood? With the purpose of improving the world and recovering the lot.

That's how Twofaces was born.

Starting from home

It literally started at home: with a scale, a bookshelf and a small storage room in San Juan de Alicante. I bought books from people who wanted to free up space or earn some extra money, sorted them one by one and resold them on Amazon. There was no investment, no team, no infrastructure. Just the conviction that I could build a sustainable, scalable model.

Over time, I developed increasingly efficient processes, relying on technology and artificial intelligence to automate tasks like book valuation or stock management. What began as a personal project became a small company with a purpose: helping people give a second life to the objects they no longer use.

Today

Today, Twofaces has grown.

We've become a platform that makes it easy to sell second-hand products through WhatsApp, offering instant offers thanks to artificial intelligence. We started with books, but we're expanding into new categories such as vinyl records, phones and video games.
